Fathoms of Fervor
By Mickey Black
I’m lost in your current,
Tangled in tendrils of icy blue.
I could easily drown here,
Entranced by the scent of you.
Lulled by your siren’s song,
I’m a sailor lost at sea.
But I don’t fear the wreckage,
For you are here beside me.
Long have I languished,
In an ocean wrought with strife.
You’re my compass pointing me home,
In you I have new life.
